I'm a 10 year old OTTB. That means I raced. And I was FAST! I did pretty good on the track, and loved it, but I was retired from racing a few years ago. My last mom started me over fences, but said I wouldn't ever make a "hunter", so she gave me my new mom. My new mom just wanted a resale project, but heh, I've got news for her! We don't always get along, and she's kind of a spazz sometimes, but she's stuck with me now. At least for a while.
I have a much older brother. His name is Roo. He's old. And boring. He doesn't get along with my spazz of a mom all the time either, but she's had him forever. I don't think he's going anywhere any time soon.
Since I've been with my mom, she's moved me from KY to GA to TX. I hear her grumbling sometimes about "the Army" and wishing they would send us somewhere she likes. I agree. This place sucks. When we first got here, I couldn't believe that I had been yanked out of my lovely pasture just to be dumped in a stall/paddock. I was a little mean to mom. I hope she'll make it up to me sooner or later. I'm willing to try not to hurt her too badly before she does. ;)
